Announcing the new Flockstar!

I have been working throughout 2022 in my free time on the next generation Flockstar app. It has tons of features gathered from years of feedback on the original, free app (now called Flockstar Lite). Existing Flockstar users will feel right at home in the new app, but there are quite a few differences. I’ll highlight those in a series of blog posts in the coming weeks.

Flockstar Features:

• Track multiple flocks or groups of layers - i.e Chickens/Ducks, White eggs/Brown Eggs, etc
• Better chart options - view stats and trends by week/month/year

• Journal entries for flock members to record important milestones, or events with notes and a photo
• Photo Gallery - view all photos attached to egg and journal entries in a single gallery view
• Better flock member sorting - by name, age, eggs laid, breed
• Enhanced ability to track eggs for an entire flock without selecting a specific layer
• Dark mode (uses your device system color mode)
• Continuous online sync of data and photos (No backups needed)
• Simple password-less sign up and sign in
• Manage flocks across multiple devices
